INTERNATIONAL!!!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! This has been a weekly swap up until now, but from now on we will do this one twice a month (every two weeks).

If you're like me you ABSOLUTELY LOVE throwing your dinner in your favorite crock pot, letting it cook all day while it fills the house with that fabulous aroma, then just opening it up and serving when dinner time rolls around:))) I thought it would be fun to swap crock pot recipes on a weekly basis....how about you??? What to join in and collect some wonderful tried and true recipes??? Let's get started then!!!

For this swap you will send 1 recipe to 1 partner. The recipes you send MUST be for a main dish, meat, one-dish meal, casserole, vegetable, etc. I think we all have enough junk food and sweets in our diet, so let's think about collecting some healthy dinner recipes....OK???

All recipes MUST be neatly hand-written, typed or if you choose, they could be printed off, neatly cut out and glued onto 3"x 5" or 4"x 6" recipe cards. If the recipes are too long to fit on the front of the card, you can either put it on 2 cards, or you can use the back of the card to finish up. All recipes must be sent on 3"x 5" or 4" x 6" recipe cards. Just be sure they're done neatly:))

The cards you send can either be store bought or printed online. There are lots of places you can print off pretty recipe cards online. Here are some wonderful web-sites you can print cards at. OH....BTW..if you decide to print the cards online, BE SURE to print them off on heavy card stock, not just plain old paper.

Click here for lots of FREE printable recipe cards

Here's another site I use for FREE printable cards:))

This is a very cheap swap to send....should only cost the price of one stamp, ofcourse unless you decide to send more than one recipe or send something extra to your partner:)) Extras are always nice too:))) If your partner follows the guidelines of this swap, PLEASE rate a 5 when you receive your envie:)) If you are extremely pleased with the envie you receive....a heart would be nice too:))) If you do not plan on rating, PLEASE DO NOT join this swap!!!

I may decide to make some of these future swaps themed:) I would like to hear what ya'll think:))) Should we swap general dinner recipes every week, or would it be more fun to throw a themed swap in every so often??? For Example: Chicken, Pork, Zucchini, Potatoe casserole, etc. Ya'll let me know what ya think???

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! Since more than likely alot of the same folks will join this swap week after week I have a suggestion that I think is important to mention! So that we won't end up sending the same recipe to any one person, I think it would be a good idea if we each keep a list of who we send what recipes to.....don't ya think???

Everyone is welcome to join in this swap as long as your profile does not show that you are a notorious flaker. I will angel for anyone who is flaked on, but if you flake I will **Shout it from the highest roof top and you will NEVER participate in any of my swaps again!!!

NOW.....LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

I love that cat photo!

A themed swap would be fine with me. Just be sure that it doesn't affect anyone of the swapers who may have allergies. :-)

I have been really loving the recipies that have been sent to me, and enjoying finding the recipies to send to my partners. Crock pot cooking is really the way to go for those of us who are busy or just enjoy a good meal while not working oneself to death in the process!

I can't believe I missed all the others. Very excited about this swap :)

So,just so I understand, this particular swap is just a one-time deal but you will host additional swaps at regular intervals? Just want to understand how it works...

When are you going to assign partners??

bettflow09 09/27/2010 #

OOPS!!! Sorry ya'll:((( It's been a super busy weekend....fixing to assign partners in a sec:))

Glad to have all of ya'll swapping with us!!!

@Neoncstar ...to answer your question, yes, this is a series of swaps, but you don't have to sign up for all of them if you don't want to. I send an email notice to everyone who is participating in the swap each time I put the next round up. We are swapping recipes twice a month, every two weeks. Like I said though, you only sign up for each round you want to swap. You do not have to sign up for every round:)
