I have been rubber stamping since before it became the art that it is today! And I have hosted hundreds of swaps on several Yahoo groups in years past. I also was a demostrator for Sweet Celebrations (no longer in business), taught classes, and had a children's stamping group. But in the last 10 years, due to illness, I have mostly put away my stamps. I'd like to get started again, this time with one swap a month, with a different theme. The theme for this swap is CATS! Your cards must have a stamped image (not computer generated) of at least one cat on your card. You will have one partner, and you will make 3 different cards (can be the same or different images) for them, and send 2 stamped images of each cat you use on your cards (so they can play with them! total of 6 stamped images). RULES: This swap is for intermediate to advanced stampers. Your cards must have 2 layers, one technique, and at least one embellishment. More is fine! Im looking for quality cards for my swaps! Techniques: brayering, embossing, torn edges, punched corners, liquid applique, a folding technique, etc. the list is endless! Use your creativity! Embellishments: ribbon, buttons, charms, emphemera, etc. If you use a special technique, you may want to tell your partner how you did it, Not required, but it is a nice touch :) Feel free to ask questions! Minimum rating of 4.8, no ones or threes in the past six months. This is a fairly easy theme. I will host one swap a month and some will be technique oriented, others more challenging! I am really looking forward to seeing your work! I would also like to receive scans of the cards you make so I can put them in an album somewhere so we can all see them! Not sure if I can do that or not, but it would be fun! |
