Description:

I have so enjoyed filling my box for the 1st swap, I couldn't wait to do another. I was thinking if all goes well I would try 1 a month, hope you will join. Description says it all, get yourself a flat rate box, the smallest is about 5$, of course you can go bigger if you choose as I'm sure no one will complain. Having your box in hand go to your crafting area and stuff it just as full as you can with whatever good, usable crafting, writing, sewing, supplies, even samples you are willing to part with. NO TRASH!! You may even want to peek at your partners profile so as your not sending anything they may be allergic to or have a strong dislike too, but in the end it is senders choice. The only rule is it must be STUFFED with an assortment of things, by stuffed I mean when they open the box there should be no room to spare!! Due to the postage I'm keeping this in the USA . NO RECENT 1 or 3's, rating must be 4.9 or better, due to the fact this would be expensive to have to angel for a bunch of flakers!! I WILL be checking profiles for this swap, and will ban any one who seems like a risk!

The smallest is a flat rate envie for $ 5...is this acceptable, since it's bot a box but the only flare rate at $ 5, otherwise it jumps to $10. Thx

Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box, $4.95 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8" so I think it best to stick with the box, as some Post Offices are picky over the envelopes being shipped with uneven bulky items.

Of course if you can mail your own box matching or bigger than that size for a cheaper postage, feel free, but it can be no smaller than the above measurements!!

i loved this swap so glad its back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never done this type of swap before. I'm looking forward to seeing what my partner sends to me. :)

I hope I get a good partner. I really have a drawer full of goodies to move along but the partners I get on these are so boring with nothing listed. :( I don't craft so anything is fine. Paper, stickers, etc... I don't knit or do scrapbooks stuff like that I don't need.

zurdoswifey 01/14/2011 #

Does this only have to be craft stuff? Or can we send other stuff? Also just so I understand right we can get a box similar in size and mail it off (not priority mail)?

pc51870 01/14/2011 #

You can send whatever you can fit in the box, as long as it isn't offensive or illegal!

pc51870 01/14/2011 #

Oh, and yes, as long as it is not smaller than the standard small flat rate box, you may send a box of your choosing!!

I had a blast doing the first one and can;t wait to do this again...you have a great idea going here! My partner loved everything I sent and i had a blast outting it together. I rec'd a great variety of items and I went thru the box once when I got it and then again when I put it all away in my organizers....it was GREAT!!!!! When is #3? LOL

pc51870 01/17/2011 #

I was thinking perhaps trying one a month, as I also LOVED filling my box!! I have yet to get my box but am waiting anxiously, looks like it will come in the next few days!! I feel like a kid at Christmas!!

MorahLaura 01/20/2011 #

Just FYI, the small flat rate boxes are $5.20 now.

pc51870 01/20/2011 #

Thanks for the update Morah!

I thought I would let you all know there may be a few in the swap that make you say"Hmmm". I personally will be mailing if they don't follow thru . Though I am most certain they will be as good as their word, as I believe in 2nd chances, but trust there will not be a 3rd chance .

KatlynAva 01/21/2011 #

I would join this swap if you could use the envelopes instead, you can't fit anything in that tiny box. You should make one for a flat rate envelope in the near future!

pc51870 01/22/2011 #

OK ...I have had lots ask bout the envelopes, so the swap for the Feb-Mar, will be the flat rate envie! I shall give it a shot. Also I just received my 1st package in mail, it's so AWESOME, I could just kiss @madhatter76 for the wonderful package

j3ss1ca 01/24/2011 #

FYI: The weight limit is 4 pounds for the flat rate box and envie.

pc51870 01/25/2011 #

j3ss1ca , I'll have to correct you, as that 4 lb. limit only applies if you are mailing Int., As it will tell you on the box.

My partners box came back to me to marked UNDELIVERABLE. I just messaged her to see if I had the correctr address, soon as I hear back from her I will get this right back out. I am so sorry...i did check her addy and it is what is in the computer. I am literally stumped on this one. I will re-send soon as hear from her and put DC on it. I will post the DC to the corrdinator and the member. Thanks, Jade517
