Okay I will admit this I stole this idea. Recently there was a tea towel swap for Americans only. I didn't read it well and got booted out :( I thought it was a great idea for a swap....so I am doing an international one. send 2 partners 2 tea towels (new ones, please). Can be 2 the same or 2 different. Doesn't matter. You just have to buy them; you don't have to make them. simply, eh? Quick turnaround since it is so simple.

What exactly is a tea towel? I know my mom always called kitchen towels tea towels but that probably isn't correct.

your mom is correct a tea towel is a kitchen towel. The ones you use to dry your dishes.

I believe a tea towel is specifically a non terry cloth kitchen towel or a certain size, but i could be wrong. feel free to correct me if i am wrong.

is this 4 T.towels total? they can be quite heavy for international postage, I'm just wondering?

dogfishsmum09 -- sorry i don't always read my comments...yes it is 2 towels to 2 people = 4 towels. I think that postage is tough i know my partner is far away but I thought it would be nice as a non-American to do

amikins. any kitchen towel is fine and size doesn't matter.

It's been a month and I have no idea when the tea towels will reach me. I've sent mine; one to Italy (received/rated) and one to USA (still not rated).

Update 27/3/2011 Sent 2 by registered mail (to Italy : received more than a month ago), to sschlegel in USA (havent received any news, last online 9/3/2011).

The sad thing : I havent received anything from people who supposed to send to me.

I'd say this swap is a fucking motherfucker bullshit. Till today (9/4/2011, after nearly 2 months), I have not received any fucking tea towels from the senders. One sender told me bad rating will make her leave Swap-Bot ... fuck your mama, daddy, sister and nanny. Where's my tea towels? Fuck your dogs and cats. The other sender is no longer with Swap-Bot. I took all the hassle in the spirit of swapping by sending my packages by registered mail so the recipients will receive my packages. Indeed my two recipients received my packeges. I still feel guilty of giving bad rating, so I don't know what to do. FUCK TEA TOWELS.
