Description:

International Swap

This is the third swap I've coordinated for notecard lovers to exchange some of their favorite designs. Send 3 different, blank, notecards to 3 partners.

This swap is limited to quality notecards. Quality does not necessarily equal expensive. It does mean that you send notecards that are not old and tired. It means it has a matching envelope and the envelope is crisp and clean. It means you send notecards that will be used by the recipient, so if your partner has in his/her profile that s/he does not like "cute or kawaii" motifs, you don't send him/her cute or kawaii motifs. You don't have to match your partners' preferences, but do take care to read their profile. No religious or political images, please.

Notecards, and envelopes, may be handmade, but make sure the envelope is sized to the notecard and mailable.

The notecards should not have any message on them. This is an international swap and not everyone will appreciate greetings in other languages. If the card design features words, for example it is a reproduction of a theatre billboard, that is fine. Just no greetings like "thank you," or "best wishes," or anything else that limits the cards' use as everyday notecards.

I don't put rating restrictions on my swaps. I look at profiles and make my own decisions on participants. I will remove participants who appear unreliable. I insist on a completed profile for all participants, although minimalist profiles accompanied by lots of great comments from other swappers also count.

Three (3) different cards to three (3) partners for a total of nine (9) cards leaving your home and nine (9) different ones coming back. Please make sure you let your partners know your real name, username and the name of the swap. Please rate your partners, or otherwise acknowledge receipt, when you receive your packet of notecards as it helps with shipping anxiety.

Special Note: On 22 November 2007 I will close this swap to people with less than 3 completed swaps (not counting URL or other email swaps), with associated ratings. After that date only people with 3 or more completed swaps will be allowed to join.

Handmade are wonderful! Just make sure it has a matching envelope, which could also be handmade.

I really wish I could stay in this swap, but I need to cut back because I've got too many things on my plate right now. If you make this swap again please be sure to PM or comment me to let me know. Sorry for the drop, it's a great swap, I just can't be in so many right now.
