Description:

Join up by the end of this weekend and send at least 6 postcards ( I know I can do 8)of your choice in an envelope to one partner, one week to send them. Get rid of those double ups, my partner will receive sheep and New Zealand mountains from me, or is everyone sick of those by now? Tough, these woolly things must go.

The postcards should be store bought, blank, new or in good condition, vintage, colour, black and white, standard or outsized, touristy (big hint) or arty farty, animal or still life, military (another big hint) ,nothing homemade or X rated. Did I leave anything out?

I will take a risk here and invite newbies to join in, but please don't flake and make me cranky. You wouldn't like me when I'm cranky.

Once the partners are assigned I, just me and no one else in this swap, will close my eyes and pick one person to send some more postcards to, yes some poor devil will get unsolicited sheep/mountain postcards from me. And they are not expected to send any to me. Be afraid I will know where you live. Lol.

Don't get me wrong sheep are fine animals it is just every time I buy a postcard their woolly little faces beam out at me from the display racks, amid the mountain cards. Here we have amazing plant life, quaint towns, unique beaches, interesting people and great artwork but these are rarely on run of the mill postcards. As I have been around postcards for a long time I know some of these darling lambkins in the pictures were printed in the 1970s. Yes I really am old enough to remember, well on a good day I remember. Lol.

I'm actually excited about the possibility of receiving some sheep postcards ... LOL! Here it's lighthouses. Racks and racks of nothing but lighthouse postcards. Lighthouses in winter. Lighthouses in summer. Lighthouses up close. Lighthouses from afar. Small lighthouses. Big lighthouses. Some sheep (and/or mountain) postcards would be a delightful change. :-)

I love lighthouses but there is only one available here and not a very exciting one at that.

I like sheep so sheep PC's are fine with me

-Unsolicited Post Cards from Me

Does anyone realise how hard it is to choose a name with closed eyes and a wayward cursor? I chose myself first and because of that just have to go out and buy more postcards. However I digress the lucky winners (victims), how could I stop at one, are:

I will get those in the mail next week.

Cheers Kay
