Swap description: A Mini-Zine of Mail Art

Write a mini-zine about any aspect of mail art, e.g.:

• a gallery of your ATCs
• the story of a mail art correspondence
• tips & techniques for your favourite mail art projects
• anything else you like related to mail art, ATCs, zines etc

In addition to the zine, you should also send your partner an example of your mail art. This could be in the form of decorating/handmaking the envie in which you mail your zine, or an enclosure within the zine/envelope (e.g. ATC, artistamps, hand-carved stamp etc) – whatever suits your own style of mail art.

Swap requirements

• 3 partners = 3 mini zines sent & 3 mini zines received.
• Mini-zines must be made from a minimum of one A4/letter-size sheet but may be larger, if you like. A 'traditional' mini-zine is the minimum requirement, but feel free to experiment with additional pages, bindings, formats etc.
• Zines may be handwritten, typed, word processed, cut-and-pasted – whatever style suits you. For those new to zines, it is usual to create one master-copy then photocopy or print multiples of the original.
• Include a sample of your own mail art, either on the outside of your packaging, or within the envelope/zine.
• Send on time!

The obvious bit
As well as meeting requirements as outlined on group homepage participants must have no late swaps on their dashboard, no 3 ratings in the last 3 months, and no 1 ratings in the last 12 months. I will check before assigning partners, so please contact me if you are concerned. I will take extenuating circumstances into account, but the happy swapping of the majority is the most important factor.
