In the picture: "How to Make Bubble Paper" & "Mini Zetti Zine of Art Quotes" by pengrafyx, "Implements of Art Creation" by beenebag, and "Minizine of Craftiness: Notebook" by Annan.

This is an ongoing fun series of minizines about art making. Join in on as many or as few as you wish. :)

Each time you join, choose another topic so that you create and receive a wide range of minizines about art making.

Your minizine should be made using a single sheet of letter-size paper (8.5x11 or A4) folded to 8 pages. You can do more pages if you want, and you can stitch or assemble your zine in other ways if you wish, but 8 pages is the minimum.

For a quick and easy video on making a minizine, look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5oD8EyZHOU

Your minizine can be colour, black-and-white, use pictures or text, or anything you want to explain your art making. Newbies welcome! We all had to start somewhere, but please fill out your profiles. I'll be checking before assigning partners. No unexplained 1’s or 3’s. I'll angel if I need to, but flakers will be excluded from future ArtMakers Minizine Swaps.

I believe everyone has something to share about their art making experience! If you can't think of your own art making idea, you can choose from the topics listed in the comments section below. So have fun, do good work & be creative!

This sounds like fun!! I'll have to think about it though, most of my "art" time right now is spent outside in the garden. Another kind of art... no?

it is 8 pages including cover and back cover? or eight interior pages?

If you take a single sheet (as shown in the video) it willl fold to 8 pages, which is 6 interior pages plus the 2 covers, but feel free to make more if you wish. :)

Can someone post a blog address or flckr page or whatever with pics of examples of this - for example, those pictured in the description? I'm just kind of curious for inspiration and ideas. Thanks!

Due to the Canada Post Mail Strike my zines may be a little late getting out - I've had them ready for weeks, but no way to send them. I'm hoping to get them to a friend across the border in the US who will mail them for me. I'll keep you posted when that happens. And (of course) this means that your zines to me will be late arriving on my end, so I'll be rating them later than usual, but I will rate when they arrive - I promise! Thanks! - Penelope

YAY! I've started receiving mail again, so my zines are going out today! :)
