Description:

Let's make a tea wallet and share two of our favorite teas.

The Wallet:
You will sew not glue your wallet. Quality construction, made by you, that you are proud of...Use clean materials, with your choice of embellishments. The wallet should be able to store two or more packets of tea. The design, and colors will be senders choice.

The Tea:
You are sending two examples of your favorite tea. Exception: Check your partners profile so you are not sending something that is on their "dislike" list. If a person is allergic or can not stand a certain type of tea, don't send it.
The tea should be in it's original packaging. That means inside the wrapper. No naked tea bags. No loose tea.

Swapper: New swappers are welcome with at least 5 type three swaps. That means crafts and packaging. This does not include type 1 electronic swaps or type 2 flat mail.

Type 1: Electronic - internet-based swaps, email, messages, links, digital photography, etc. Type 2: Flat mail - postcards, letters, mail swaps with little, to no, craft component. Type 3: Crafts & Packages - any time-intensive craft swaps, any swaps sent in packages, most swaps will fall in this category.

Everyone will have to have a rating of 4.9 or higher to join the swap, with no 3's or 1's in the last 60 days. I hate banning anyone but will if I feel it is necessary. I will check profiles.

If you are not sure you can complete this swap by the due date, or have ever "flaked" on anyone, please do not sign up. I want this to be fun for everyone.

Please include a short message with the swap name and your information on it. Some people receive lots of swaps and have no idea who they are from.

So that's:
* Sew one tea wallet
* Send two wrapped tea bags
* Short message.

Any questions, please contact me. If someone wishes to start an international swap, feel free to do so.

I'm going to have to try to make a tea wallet to make sure this is something I can make for someone else, so I'll watch for now. :)

@snowqueen1426 ?.....can this be either machine or hand-stitched?

snowqueen1426 06/10/2011 #

Basete59.. yes.. the contruction can be machine or hand-stitched. I make all my quilts by hand and they have held up for many years.. So hand sewn items just need to be of quality construction,,just like machine sewn.. great question.. :D

I've been contacted by several people who wished to take part in this swap but did not have 10 level 3 swaps completed. So I have edited the swap to read, 5 level 3 swaps. Your level information can be found on your profile page under the Rate information. Those who do not have 5 or more level 3 completed swaps do not qualify for this swap. Thank you :D
