You will send a cake/cookies mix box, that means those boxes containing all the ingredients to make a cake or cookies, where you usually just have to add milk or eggs. It goes without saying that the box must be FULL and NEW and that you don't need to send the extra ingredients.

Please write below whether you have preferences or allergies, to help your partner choose the right mix box for you.

Edit: I changed the signup deadline since I'm going on holiday from Jul, 13th 'til Jul, 19th. New signup deadline: Jul, 19th.

General rules:

  • Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile.
  • I can't put a spending limit because I don't know how much are mix boxes around the world, I usually find them between 2.50 € and 5 €.
  • No flakers will be tolerated.

I already know the one I want to send. Sure hope my partner is open on this one. This is just a light hearted swap. And btw, I am not a chocolate fan, but my guys are, so any flavor is fine.

I just had a "Wait a minute" moment. Is it okay to send food products everywhere????

This would make a nice USA swap.

alot of the international places will check your packages and DO NOT ALLOW food in the mail. i got yelled at last week for this.

is the box full or empty?

Cake mix boxes are generally composed by... uhm, some kind of "powder" (like freeze-dried food), so there shouldn't be any problem since you don't send fresh food (of course it's the partner who receives the mix box who will add milk, eggs, etc.). This is the second time I organise this swap and nobody had problems in the first one, I received a mix box from Thailand and sent one to Portugal. Anyway, the swap you should check whether you can receive/send this kind of things in your Country (I heard that Australia, for instance, has strict rules about this). @ladydy5 feel free to create a US-only version of this swap =) @bluecrayons the box must be full and new, so to let your swap partner prepare a yummy dessert! =)
