Description:

This is a swap of handmade mini envelopes, plus a mini envelope template. The size of the envelopes can be basically any size that cannot be mailed because they are too small. My intent is that we will all receive some fun mini envelopes that we can use to put small goodies in for our future swap partners.

To each of your 2 partners, you will:

  • Make and send 3 different mini envelopes, along with 1 mini envelope template.
  • Make your envelopes out of some sort of decorative paper (anything but plain).
  • Into one of the envelopes, you will put a small surprise - something you think your partner might like.
  • Please also include a note card or a letter, telling a little about you and/or your day.
  • Lastly, please mail your mini envelopes in a larger handmade envelope – decorated in some way to make it fun.

To join, you must have a 4.9 or higher standing with no unexplained 1s or 3s.

Thanks @Netsirfirgal for the link. Here's another one: http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm

@user3775 search "mini envelope templates" on the Web. You can buy them - here's some fun looking ones:

I sometimes find them at thrift stores and when I do, I gently take them apart and re-trace them onto "cereal box" cardboard to make myself a new template.

Here's another idea: once you find a template you like, shrink it down on a copier to get some different sizes.

Yesterday at a local thrift store, I lucked out by finding a rubber stamp of a small envelope & small note to go inside. Needless to say, I sat down and made about 10 envelopes using it. Very cool for the $2.00 price tag!

If there's anyone who would like some extra envelopes, I went to the store today to find some really interesting pieces of scrapbook paper and went absolutely nuts with them, I mean...they WERE on sale :D anyways, I'd love to send some envelopes to anyone who either doesn't end up getting any, or would like some extras

I would love extras!!!
