This is the first in a series of swaps centered around the theme of my favorite doggy--the tenaticous MINIATURE DACHSHUND. I absolutely LOVE my 2 Doxies--they are my canine children. They're cute, protective, short, mischevious, cuddly under the covers, affectionate, loyal, very smart, barky, and sometimes stubborn! If you have Doxies then you know what I mean! As I stated this is a first in a series of swaps and the first one is for Doxie owners only! You must actually own a Doxie--either full size or miniature. The Swap will be to mail a picture (please print onto photo paper) of you and your Doxie(s) to your swap partners with a little card telling their names, ages, and why you love them as well as written onto the back of the photos. This is an international swap and is open to newbies with a filled out profile. You will have 5 partners. I will be checking everyone's profile. My goal is to create an online familiy of Doxies and their human parents. Any questions, contact me or post below. Thanks!

boo. I had a doxie but had to give her away. :( so I don't actually own one, but she will always be my Coco! sorry I can't join the swap. :( grrr. y'all enjoy.

We have been looking to get a dog for a few years now, we just have to move to do so, our apartment complex doesn't allow them.

I recently received an email from Beck who recently had to put down her Doxie of 17 years. I am accepting her into the swap and here is an excerpt of the email reply that I gave to her: "As for the swap...I think this would be a perfect opportunity for you as well as others to share their love of doxies. A community is about folks with the same interest and sharing information and experiences to enrich each others' lives." If there are others who would like to join and have been the parent of a Doxie and want to share their love for their beloved canine child with others...then email me and I will consider you on a case by case basis.
