Are you sure you want to signup for Themed Mail Club #1 - Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner?

Yes, sign me up! or No, I changed my mind.

NOTE: As this is the first in the series, this swap will be US only to keep down on postage costs as this will serve as a trial run for possibly continuing the series. If this goes well and continues to, expect this swap to expand internationally or have an international edition series.

Have you seen those new mail club subscriptions? Want to make one or receive one without having a paid subscription? This is the swap for you!

For this swap, you will follow the month’s theme to assemble a fun envelope of goodies that are often found inside a mail club envelope. Everyone is required to include 1 handmade visual component, 1 handmade written component, and a minimum of 3 extras/smaller components following the month’s theme. Themes are meant to be vague to add some variety and fun to this swap and can be interpreted in many ways by the sender, as this is a sender’s choice swap. Due to the nature of this swap, the use of AI in any way is not permitted.

This month’s theme is Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Theme your envelope and components to either breakfast, lunch, dinner, or all three! You can theme it around your favorite dish during that mealtime, a favorite memory you had during a dinner, or anything else as long as it falls under the theme.

Visual Components: For your visual component, you can handmake any sort of papercraft relating to the theme. Examples include 4x6 postcards/prints, an ATC, a sketch, a collage, a card, a bookmark etc. Please make something that you would also be happy to receive. Visual components must mostly consist of original work. Embellishments are allowed as long as they don’t make up the majority of the visual component.

Written Components: For your written component, you must handwrite or type up an original written work relating to the theme. Examples include, a story or memory relating to the theme, a recipe, a poem, why you chose the theme, etc. Write to your heart’s desire and make something you would enjoy reading. You may decorate your written component so long as it relates to the theme.

Smaller components do not need to be handmade, though they must resonate with the theme or visuals of the bigger components and must be unused. Smaller components can include smaller sized visual or written elements or you may use a set of die cuts, a sticker sheet/flakes, washi tape, memos, temp tattoo, any deco or papercraft etc. There must be a minimum of at least 3 sender’s choice smaller components, but please make sure they are something of substance (ex: memos as one extra component but must be 3+ in quantity.)

Extra postage may be required for this swap so please weigh everything to determine total postage needed, and please make sure all components can fit in an envelope comfortably. The envelope does not have to be on theme or decorated. Please put your swap username and the swap title on a note or on the envelope.

Ratings: Please rate your partner a 5 if you received 1 handmade visual component, 1 handmade written component, and at least 3 extra components and if everything was on theme.

Eligibility: Must have a well-filled out profile, a 4.8+ rating, and be active within 5 days before the signup date to participate in this swap. Please no unexplained 1’s or 3’s. If you don’t meet these requirements but would like to participate or have any questions regarding the swap please let me know!
