Hi Shellie! I really enjoyed the Abstract ATC .. look forward to more of them. I also enjoyed your link on making ATCs .. Ive seen similar to this, but yours suited my style more.
Ive yet to make a dottee, but everyone in my monthly ATC group does. We have a week-long retreat in June so am thinking of creating my first ones there.
I also like your inchies .. being attracted to miniatures, Ive been playing with them. My first attempt was a sorta' inchie: I gesso'd a puzzle piece, did some abstract art on it, then affixed it to an ATC. (Note to self: put pic on pinterest!) I really like the idea of a puzzle inchie .. so I googled it and found where crafters were using the large / children / 2-3" puzzle pieces .. so not the same. Lol .. I might be creating a whole new sub-genre! :D
Well .. back to exploring your profile. So much to look at! Have a great day!
I'm so glad you liked the ATC!!!! :) (Doing a happy dance) I was sweatin' over it, now I can't stop making things with this technique! lol! Asheville is pretty durn cool. I'm glad you enjoy your visits here. We do our best to keep it weird :) I've got family in Knox too! ..and I used to work in Hendo (that's what us Brevardians call Hendersonville!) hehehe..Anyhow, joined your next Altered Swap and left a public service announcement for ya.... Can't wait. It will be ready tomorrow...kidding!...or am I? ; Peace n love
Thank you again, many years ago I bought a special pen that work in a similar fashion. Your page is very helpful.Thank you for your recommendation for yes paste, etc. I hope you will keep it updated
Thank you so very much for the "Not a Swap" teas and note. You brightened my day!!! I would send you 2 eagles, one bald and one golden, if the government would let me. I can not even pick up eagle feathers, either from one who has died or shed on the beach, without facing heavy fines. Such a waste too, as they are beautiful! My Orca express is getting a reprieve as the big Hump Backed whales are up from Hawaii. Sooo gorgeous! You have to plan a trip up here! We have 20 eagles in the village right now. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Thank you so much for the 2 postcards. I have another Linen one to send to you. AND I've never ready any of the books on your list, which makes me happy because I need new books! :-)
