Hello!

My name is Ashley, I currently live in California with my husband, our dog Sascha, cat Diesel, kitten Phoebe and chickens!

I served 4 years in the US Navy as an Aerographers Mate doing weather and oceanography stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I then got my degree in Interior Design but now work as a Lab Planner designing and planning research laboratories for scientists.

The design aesthetic I love is Scandinavian, Industrial, Boho and Hygge.

Books: This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, The Housemaid series by Freida McFadden. I love psychological thrillers and suspense books.

I have always loved crafting and making things especially since being in school and creating all my art projects. I love craft journaling, and making things for other people. I usually bust out in song at least once a day. Some other hobbies are reading, singing worship, drawing, coloring, dancing around my house, cooking, watching movies, gardening, house plants, hiking, surfing, enjoying the sunshine, coffee dates, thrifting, working on cars with my husband, riding motorcycles and hanging out with my chickens. I think I have a new hobby of collecting postcards now too!

I absolutely love piano and have a dream of playing it one day! I sing in my worship band at church, mainly harmonies and I love it! 🥰

I'm weirdly overly sensitive so I love different smells (and some not so much haha) and I love textural objects. I tend to rub on things in stores as I walk past them be it blankets, plants, clothes etc.

I became a born-again Christian Jan 2021, which is my faith, belief and relationship with Jesus. Its the best gift I have ever received, and I love him so much! He completes me!

I love learning about different cultures and countries. I lived in Okinawa, Japan for a few years when I was in the Navy. I learned a little Japanese, enjoyed some incredible food and overall loved the people and living there!

I always love to open the mail box to see a package or letter and look forward to brightening someone else's day with snail mail as well! I love decorated envelopes and Postcards stamped!

TEAS/COFFEE/HOT CHOCOLATE/TREATS

I love everything tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Chai lattes are the best! I enjoy all tea flavors except licorice. Please send me your favorites and maybe it will become my new favorite as well.

I also love snacks or candies from other countries. My husbands family is from Austria so we can't go a winter without our tin of Lebkuchen-Schmidt.

I love to receive and family recipes you'd like to share for anything, cooking, Baking, treats, etc.

The only flavor I am not a fan of is licorice.
