I am a Steiner Waldorf teacher and mixed media artist. I have been married to the same guy for 36 years and have three grown up kids. I love teaching but love creating art even more. For that reason I can't wait to retire and play art full time. Still a few years off sadly.I like vintage, steampunk, collage, zettiology and anything handmade with care. I do not like cute, disney inspired, loads of glitter and ready made stickers etc.

My favourite art materials are Golden fluid acrylics, gesso, artist pens and Caran d'ache water soluable crayons. I use painting and drawing, collage, rubber stamping and doodling in my artwork. I also love altered art but most of my work is two dimensial though I love some texture.

My favourite music is anything with a good rhythm, (bit vague that, sorry). Love Scottish and Irish folk music, some classical stuff, Bluegrass and Jazz

I LOVE reading and have many too many favourite books to mention.

Anything paper craft related. I love making journals, cards, tags, books. I use collage, painting, drawing etc. My favourite styles are Vintage, Zetti, Grungy, Tim Holz style stuff. I love texture. My favourite colours change over time, depending on my mood. Sometimes I like muted colours, brown, buff and shades of white. Sometimes I love bright colours, turqoise, reds, oranges and blues. I used to love purple but have gone right off it at the moment. I have done quite a bit of knitting, plant dying and a bit of felting, but not much recently.

Anything Romantic, but not sentimental. I love things with some depth to them and a real story. I hate action movies and horror

I hardly watch any telly as I am usually far too busy creating art and craft.

I love swapping art and craft items. ATCs Aceos, Skinnies, Tags, Bookmarks, FBs Journals etc. I always honour my swaps and deliver on time. I am new to swap bod but have traded for several years. I take a lot of care over my work and appreciate if swapping partners do the same. I promise I will always rate you straight away and will do my utmost to be fair.

When people let me down, either don't send stuff or it is just put together in a hurry. If you think you are going to miss a deadline, just let me know, I don't mind waiting and am always understanding.
