Have just joined Swap-bot (Feb,2012) Not quite sure what to make of it all. Passion - patchwork & quilting - all types from traditional to arty - handwork to machine work. Have been making MailArt for over a year now & really enjoying the experience & 'meeting' other artists. The best thing I've got out of this experience is having others think of my work as 'art'! It's great to be appreciated. Person - married for 35 years, 3 sons - no grandchildren. Semi-retired, we've had our own business for nearly 40 years - would both love to retire but not sure how we would manage our obsessions - his golf & my textile loves. Will add more as time goes by. COLOURS: I know I don't like pastels or rather, they don't like me - so I prefer stronger colours. Some of you will remember when 'getting your colours done" was the rage - I had mine done & I am Autumn - gives you a hint to what I like also really deep purples, reds, greens etc. OTHER LIKES & DISLIKES - |'m relatively conservative - like all sorts of music except heavy metal, Movies - really like murder mysteries, dramas, musicals, sometimes chick flicks if I want my mind in neutral. Books - murder mysteries, some autobiographies, NOT romance, sometimes family sagas - There - a little bit more about me.
