Ah, yes I did make the envelope out of an old calendar. The big 12"x12" calendars are the best for making envelopes! The pictures are always so pretty, and the pages are relatively thick. I always saved old calendars because I thought they were too pretty to toss, and might be useful someday. Well, I finally found that use! Glad you like it (and the postcards, haha). :]
The postcards you sent are the best, and you're even better!!! I looove the long descriptions. In hindsight, I wish I did that with mine. And I REALLY want to vacation there now, just to go hiking! (Skiing's not my thing...) The views are quite gorgeous. It's hard to choose, but I think the one of Dream Lake has to be my favorite. I hope to see it in person someday! ~Katie :]
Ooh! You like family history! So do I! I love going to the cemetery in my town. It's where my mom and grandparents are buried, as well as many other people I once knew. I hope to someday find my ancestor's graves and get pictures of their head stones.
