About Me

Hi friends! My name's Dixie & I'm from Utah, USA(: I'm a mormon who served a full-time mission in the wonderful state of Florida and am currently in Idaho for college.

I'm a 6' girl with short hair looking to learn and discover! I have a camera glued to my hands that I'm currently trying to figure out, and am studying to be a US History teacher.

The Bible and the Book of Mormon and my church are very close to my heart. Christ is my savior and redeemer and I'm always seeking to love and serve him better(: Philippians 4:13 Helaman 12:5

I love learning of new places and cultures and making new friends!

Favorite Music

I love music and am always looking for something new to discover(:

my taste ranges from indie, alternative, oldies, to folk! I'm pretty open minded but stay away from anything that might promote anything crude or have too frequent or strong curse words in the lyrics.

Favorite Books

I love futuristic books that deal with a dystopian society! Such as The Hunger Games, Uglies, and the matched series. Fiction & fantasy is always a good read, and I ADORE anything by Sarah Dessen!(:

Favorite Movies

I love me some 80's movies! Back to the Future is my top notch favorite(:

Chick flicks are always good and anything that isn't horror I'm more than likely to watch.

Toys & Trinkets

Things that I love! I collect mugs, Meaningful quotes, I LOVE personal photography prints, Simple rings, size 8.5-9.5 Simple small earrings(: WINDCHIMES!! :D Headbands, Hats, Sunglasses, Nail polish, Fun Socks, Postcards of all sorts! T-shirts (large), TRAVEL THEMED ANYTHING, Tie-dye, Art, Herbal Tea, Fortune Cookies, Seeds (any sorts! flowers are the best!) Unique ribbons, Maps, Old fashioned watches are the way to my heart!
