Hello everyone out there, I'm Anita. I'm a 23 year old girl from Munich, Germany. I study Social Pedagogy; right now, I work at a youth center. I like, in no particular order: Letters, reading, postcards, tea, penguins, the color green, trees, ships, the ocean, coffee, crocheting, nearly every craft, photography, volunteer work with children and teens, lighthouses, travelling by train or coach, silver jewellry, hiking, sea birds, nature, sunsets, the moon, camp fires, street festivals, poetry, art, old buildings, lots of different kinds of music, my family and my friends, my cat, movies, quotes, ad cards, the sun.... Can't think of anything else right now. I'm looking forward to many great swaps!

Among the things I'd love to receive are:

• Pretty papers for crafts and scrapbooking, even usable scraps; also pieces of giftwrapping paper, newspaper clippings, magazine pages, ...
• sweets, candy, chocolates
• tea and coffee (I love black, green, white and herbal teas; I'm not a fan of so-called fruit teas)
• stickers
• writing paper for letters
• tea cup or espresso cup
• candles
• postcards
• seeds (flowers, vegetables, ...)
• poetry and quotes in any form, as postcards, small books, on writing paper or notebooks, ....
• used stamps
• glass beads
• recipes for cakes, vegetarian meals, sweets, cupcakes, cookies
• anything with ginger in it
• silver earrings or studs

Lots and lots and lots... stuff that is a bit "philosophical" and makes me think about life and people; one of my favourite authors is the great Nick Hornby. Political books are also ok, there are some great books here that deal with German politics and society that are also fun to read. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of romantic novels; I do like some thrillers (Ken Follett, Dan Brown), crime books, some fantasy (yay Tolkien and Rowling!), and another great favorite of mine are all books that deal with travelling in any way: Guide books, books about characters who are travelling, travel reports by real people, books about pilgrimage, sea faring, whatever, as long as it helps me feed my wanderlust!

I also like to read fan fiction: ENT, SG-1, QAF, S+H for those of you out there who understand what I mean! :-)

Things I don't like or don't care for too much: - anything pink; I'm also not a big fan of olive green, as it looks too military to me, but it is ok in combination with other green tones; - anything with whiskey in it or the taste of whiskey; - homophobia, racism or any kind of prejudice; - cars - anything "teen", like High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Twilight, ... I get too much of that at work as it is; - soccer and most other sports - I don't care much for cute stuff in general - fruit infusions/fruit tea - the colours red, orange, bright yellow, neon colours, gold
