Good it got there, I couldn't wait for you to get it! He had been sitting on my desk waiting for eyes and a home, and I'm glad he has a great one now where he will be loved and enjoyed. When I was little I had a little crocheted chicken that I was severely attached to, so I think that's the root my obsession with making toys to share =)
i didn't see the movie, but i've heard about it...and there's been plenty of stuff in the local papers about wal-mart and its various issues.
as for the rape issues...i think a lot of that comes from it being a "woman's" issue. obviously, a man wouldn't want something to happen to his mom/wife/daughter/etc, but he turns a blind eye to it happening to others.
this is an issue that needs to be addressed at all levels including the home!
as a rape survivor myself (by a family "friend") and having been molested by various males as a child, i know all too well how apathy begins at home!

Thanks for the barrettes! I cut my hair shorter than I meant to, and now it's too short to put in a ponytail, so they are exactly what I need.
I hope your father is doing better!
So where is the list to send to for the magazine swap?
Thanks for the 50 loose stickers from 'Tag you're it'! Received them today :)
