I do enjoy cooking/baking! I love cute accessories/dishes to make food more fun! I'm a fan of quick and simple recipes! My favorites are cakes (including cupcakes!), pies, and cookies! I have a new obsession with bento boxes!

I love anything Alice in Wonderland (I don't mind the Disney commercial look, but I'm a fan of the black and white sketches of Tenniel). My favorite characters are Alice & The White Rabbit. I do like the Red & White Queens too. I adore the poem the Jabberwock (hence my nickname)

I love using fun, simply designed stationary...I'm not a fan of floral designs or pastels. I HATE cutesy puppies/kittens on stationary (Hello, Kitty included...i don't hate her, just not partial)...I don't have any of it and I'm pretty much against puppies and kittens on anything! I love bold colors...especially from the green, blue, indigo range.

My husband HATES that I have so many bags, but I LOVE them! I think it's because I'm a teacher and one can never have too many bags to carry all of your books! I have several handmade ones and am always on the look out for more!

Children's books that tell a beautiful story or have intriguing illustrations fill my library at home.

I like acrylic and watercolor paints, colored pencils, sharpies, fabrics (partial to vintage, unique, and/or interesting textures), textured paper, ribbon, newspaper print, magazine clippings, stamps (rubber & postage), anything that I can find! I like to make note cards, but have never ventured to make any ATCs yet!

I love anything having to do with the outdoors/nature. I love winter because of skiing and summer for swimming! I love watching animals busy at play and work! Identifying animals is something I have a knack for. My friends all think I'm a geek because of it! I love the ocean (I couldn't imagine not living near it!): marine life, maritime art, sailboats, photography (especially black & white), etc. I'm also partial to mountains (I'm kinda AWESOME at skiing!) and fields of wild flowers! Patterns and design in nature are of particular interest to me.

I love to sit with a good book and drink tea (or hot cocoa!). Only decaffeinated, herbal teas. My favorites are chamomille, peppermint, and spiced teas. I collect unique or interesting mugs, that are not the traditional diner style.

My favorite flavors: watermelon, strawberry, bubblegum

My favorite scents: coconut, peach, cinnamon. Anything fruity/earthy...I'm not a flowery scent gal.

I'm interested in learning about other cultures. I'm an American (multi-ethnic: Irish, English, Native American, African) and enjoy reading, art, and other cultural artifacts relating to the above. I'm infatuated with the Japanese culture...everything's just so simple, efficient, and CUTE!

I like ANYTHING that has a simple, clean design & presentation...but, I try not to limit myself!

I'm hoping that swap-bot will help me to find some new hobbies! So, I'd be grateful for anything "beginner" for any kinds of hobbies like: sewing, knitting, embroidery, beading, etc.

I dislike: horses, Mary Engelbreit, Suzy's Zoo, Precious Moments, etc., chalk, coffee (but don't mind coffee flavored things), receiving junk...I wouldn't do it to you!

I love anything except country western music...other than that...I'm open to it all. I tend to be drawn to music from other cultures than my own, Broadway musicals (I LOVE RENT and Andrew Llyod Webber), movie soundtracks, etc.

Anything but horror or lacking sense (i.e. David Lynch, ugh.) I love it all comedy, docs, musicals, drama, thriller (just no gore!), mysteries, romance, foreign, etc.
