One I like; What is the difference between ignorance and apathy?
A: I don’t know, and I don’t care.
One of the kid’s favorites: How do you get a squirrel to like you?
A: Act like a nut!
When I’m acting up [as grandfather figures often do], the four year old will tell me this one and then tell me that the squirrels are going to eat me up.
Sign Language teacher how wonderful is that! I have always wanted to learn I am almost 30 so I still have time. I love how it has become more popular with in the hearing community.. i hope you have a wonderday.
I love that you have a connection with nature. I myself am not religious as well and people often think I'm silly when I talk about being connected with nature. I'm also going to have to checkout Vikings. It sounds like a cool show.
Stephen King; Probably my most favorite author. I have enjoyed everything he has written. I love the psychological aspects of his horror stories. The ones I keep going back to reread are: Salem’s Lot, The Stand, Duma Key, and The Gunslinger series.
Anne Rice; The Vampire Chronicles and The Mayfair Witches
Dean Koontz: The Odd Thomas books and much of his fiction. He seems so knowledgeable about all aspects of his stories, especially in technology.
Isaac Asimov; The Caves of Steel, I, Robot, the Foundation series…
Ray Bradbury; Fahrenheit 451… what more need I say?! Well… I guess I could say: Something Wicked This Way Comes, Death Is A Lonely Business, A Graveyard for Lunatics, and oh so many collections of wonderful short stories.
Suzanne Collins; The Hunger Games series. I also loved reading the Gregor books with my children.
James Dashner; The Maze Runner books and the four books of the The Jimmy Fincher Saga.
and last but not by any means least…
J. K. Rowling
I am just starting the second Palimpsest book by P.J. Post. While I haven’t read enough of his work to call him a “favorite” I really enjoyed Feral and am looking forward to reading more of his work.
Of course, you noticed that my reading revolves around Horror, Sci-fi, and Dystopian. I hope that you can find a new author here worth trying.
Most of my fav holiday foods are of the treat variety-my fav's are candy canes, hot chocolate and peanut butter chocolate balls. Apple cider is good too :)
Hello from Seattle & yes, I am 95% of the time: Sleepless. But I would never leave Seattle. I moved here around 7 yrs ago at the invitation of a childhood friend. And I jumped at the chance. I had always had this unexplainable yearning to be in Seattle for as long as I can remember. Even before I had ever visited. It was more than a wish to move her. It was a deep down in my soul yearning & knowing that I belonged here. And, indeed, I was right!
So now I love to do my crafts & also just picked up beading again. I run a very successful gp on another social media site. I have 2 adult children one of whom goes to Boise State majoring in PreMed.
Hope the rest of your weekend goes well! Have a good one... PEACE! Sydgwiz

My favourite Christmas movie has to be the Polar Express! Close second and third would have to be the Grinch and Love Actually. Happy holidays!
