Hello! My name is Michelle, I am Mom to a marvelous 1st grader. She is the sunshine of my life. She loves to spend Saturday afternoon painting and drawing masterpieces while I am working on my newest endeavor.We have a thing for pink poodles.(not real ones!) It is fun to have a common collectible with her.

I am a dabbler in crafts....I make assemblage jewlery, am crazy for paper crafts, and really enjoy working with shrink plastic. It is so much fun to use. Another favorite is altering matchboxes or other small tins or jars. The examples I admire from around the net are ah-mazing. I just adore small, tiny works of art.

My taste is embarassingly girly the more bling-y or frilly the better :) Please don't be alarmed ! I am totally aware that not everyone shares this asthetic. When I make something for somebody else I am quite restrained... not tacky unless that is what you like.

I believe that we go through seasons in our lives. Right now I think and hope I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel of a really rough season. Swapping has been a terrific experience and has added much needed joy to my day to day life.

Currently my newest passion is mixed media art journaling. I also enjoy painting, embroidery, doodling, matchbox altering......

Although I dont sew (a huge regret of mine) I am hoping Swap-bot may inspire me to take on the challenge of learning.

I enjoy paper crafts, collage, altered/assembled jewelry, dioramas, upcycled paper beads. I also enjoy painting and drawing too. Lately I am more into 3d crafting.

I have always loved snowglobes usually the plastic cheapie kind. I am drawn to this look in shaker cards, or shaker/floating style jewlery and the anthroplogie style no-water snow globes.

I go crazy for popup books. I buy any pop up book I find at goodwill no matter the condition. Sometimes I will sneak in an interesting lift the flap book here and there.

Charms are a weakness. Love them. If they are mechanical WOW. I like 14k silver plastic the whole range

Gel pens, markers, colored pencils and cool pens ---- I can't seem to get enough. I have to look at this aisle whenever I am in a store.

My style and likes vary greatly and are strange /eclectic. Kawaii style stickers, gashapon re-ment© (had to put that there... my tablet wanted to change the spelling and would not let me edit 😒) small plastic toys objects are so interesting to work with or admire. I like minuature or smaller scale dollhouses. I search out small plastic dollhouses or other playsets. It has been a dream since childhood to have an amazing dollhouse. I think zinkies are irresistible. In other words I like the small random plastic stuff leftover after cleaning out a toy bin or drawer.

I am a makeup fiend. I love nail products too. I like the fun new trend of 3d nail art.

Things I am not drawn to: Twilight or any other new young adult book series Disney Tea(I am a coffee girl) Steampunk I think that covers it.

My username is a combo of Juicy my maltese and Cupcake my maltipoo. Fortunately they are not shedders. I also try my best to carefully inspect anything leaving my home.
