Hello There, my name is Eveliina, I'm 34 years old, and I live in central Finland, small town girl!

I'm newbie here at swap-bot, but snailmailer since 2014, postcrossing, swaps and penpals. Sending&recieving is my passion, I don't know almost anything better than to make someone smile because of something that I have send. I always put my heart into my mail :-)

About Me

My passions are my two dogs, swedish vallhund Kielo (Lily of the valley) and swedish elkhund Helmi (Pearl). I train agility with my babygirl Kielo, and love to walk around in the nature with both of them. Nature and forest is important me, and I'm very interested about all kinds of Wildlife, animals and the green ones :-)

My other attractions besides mailing; Yoga, ballet, reading, old movies, documents, art (making and experiencing), gardening, decorating, cooking vegan food, cosmetics..

I've recently learned to knit and gone bit crazy about it ;-) now I want to learn to crochet and sew also!

Favorite Music

Jazz and classical music. The Hurts, Florence and the machine,Kent.. finnish groups Scandinavian Music Group, Tuure Kilpeläinen, Vuokko Hovatta..

Favorite Movies

I love movies, in various genres Last seen; "Arrival", it was so beaitiful movie, best I've seen in years.

Likes

I love all kinds of cute/cool stationary, papergoods, japanese/korean things, anything from Sanrio and Studio Ghibli,items with illustared pictures of animals, vegan friendly candy, cute accessories, all kinds of tea (but especially flavoured (please no jasmin!) green and herbalteas, not big fan of riceteas etc), washitape, cosmetics/cosmetic samples, prints/pages of old flora&fauna illustration, project life-cards, knitting/crochetimg/sewing related stuff... veganism-related stuff like stickers, totebags..

I'm quite easy to make smile ;-)

Things that make me happy *Flamingos, unicorns, bunnies, dogs.. *Strawberrys, watermelons, pineapples.. *Icecream, cupcakes, sweets.. *Mintgreen, pale pink, bright yellow *Lily of the valley, lilac, peony, poppy * Eeyore, Moomins, Pusheen the cat, My Little Pony (the retro version!)

What I don't want to receive

Because I'm vegan , please don't send me any non-vegan treats! (gelatine, milk, eggs). But I'll be more than happy to get vegan candy!

And I'm not very fond of babies (have none), so nothing related to babies (like Anne Geddes) is not my cup of tea.

It's not fun to get stuff that you have no use. Like wedding-themed stickers (I'm already married) or christmas-stickers at springtime :-/ I always send stuff that would make me smile too, not just something from the bottom of my drawer.

Touristcards are not in the top of my list.

Comment: WOW!!! Kiitos! Thank you SO much!! I LOVED this envelope so much. When I was in high school I spent 7 weeks in Finland, less than 2 hours south of your town. I never saw a moose, but I LOVE the postcard. It is funny, the post card says "elk" but they are moose. That makes me love it more. I love that "moomin tea" too. I know Moomin from being in Finland too. This was a VERY special envelope and it made me so happy, Thank you, thank you. PS--My favorite Finnish word that I know is "mansikka." It's one of the only ones I remember :)
Response: Oh what a coinsifence that you have lived 7 weeks here in Finland! You know, quite a many people don't even know that Finland exists, or they think that our country is full of polarbears 😉 Glad to hear that you liked things that I chose for you. Finnish "hirvi" is called elk instead of moose (and scandinavian elks too). So it is bit different animal than mooses in Canada for example. But very similar looking though. Hihi,,thank you for sharing your favourite finnish word! I think finnish berry-names are funny, manSikka, musTikka, puoLukka, and then there is just Lakka 😁 (cloudberry) Happy swaps to you!
