About Me

I'm Sarah, married with 3 children (2 boys aged 9 and 2 years and a girl aged 7 years old). I love crafting and particularly scrapbooking! Also dabble in needlecraft and knitting..... Bright colours make me happy (my favourite colours are green and blue) and I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, and am always keen to try new recipies. Glossy magazines and books rank highly in my favourite relaxing activities, when I am not crafting! I am also 'Mummy' to 4 gorgeous chickens, Martha, Mabel, Maggie and Matilda! I love and am beginning to collect anything with a chicken theme......

Favorite Books

I LOVE a bit of 'chick lit' to curl up with of an evening when I get a bit of 'me' time! Harry Potter is also a favourite and I have just been introduced to the Twilight series..... Any scrapbook or craft magazines - new or well read if anyone wants to share!

Treats

Chocolate - who can live without it? We have some fab stuff in the UK, Galaxy being my favourite but I ADORE peanut butter M&Ms and you just can't get them here! If anyone posts to me from the USA........... I'll 'heart' you forever!!

Chickens/ Buttons/ ATCs/ Handmade journals/ knitted dishcloths (any colour!)/ Rik rac/ roses/ 70's retro (!)/ VW camper vans/ embellishments/ girly things (not too much pink!)/ the colour green/ handbags, purses and shoes/ shopping/ beads and beading/ autumn/ christmas/ being cosy/ cooking/

Dislikes

Horror (movies, pictures etc)/ coffee flavoured chocolate/ STICKERS!!

Friends/ ER/ Desperate Housewives/ Masterchef/ anything cookery

Favorite Crafts

Scrapbooking, knitting (dishcloths are ace!), cross stitch. Thanks to Swap-bot I'm now hooked on ATC's and have really enjoyed making my first Dotee Doll!

Extras for 'hearts'.....

Don't get me wrong, the extras you lovely swappers send are great but I really don't need for any more craft stuff! I would love anything profile related, an extra ATC or handmade journal and chocolate never goes off in my house!! Equally, hearts aren't only for the extras - I LOVE to recieve swaps that have been thoughtfully created.....
