❗I am out of my stock of postcards and I am not planning to host any swaps in the foreseeable future. Thank you, guys, for all the nice words and requests to do more swaps! But I don't have the time for this hobby anymore, and the whole point of my joining swap-bot was to get rid of all the cards I still had in stock. I loved most of the cards I received (as for those few who decided that they were above the rules - well, sh*t happens). I am also sure that every single card I sent was great and according to the swap guidelines. I'll rate what I haven't received yet, when it arrives. Cheers! ❗

❗NB. In my experience it usually takes at least! 40 days for a card to reach Canada, Australia and the US ❗

❗I do not collect anything! There is no need for any extras. I am sorry, but I do not want them, do not like them and do not welcome them. ❗

❗What I expect is a proper card in strict accordance with the swap topic and guidelines. If not so, I rate a 3, and there is no point in trying to blackmail me into changing my rating, you should have bothered to send something proper in the first place. It is also ridiculous to try and scare me with my removal from swap-bot. As we often say in Russia, you can't threaten a hedgehog with your bare ar*e) ❗

Hello there! My name is Valentina, 37. I was born in Moscow and had lived there my entire life - until several years ago we bought a cottage in a small and picturesque village not far from the city. Now our family are enjoying country life with our two dogs - Darcy and Kuzya, both male, both adopted half-breeds.

I am a linguist and an interpreter. I was a university professor for many years, but right now I am a housewife and loving it. 😍

I am a very decent cook (and a baking goddess for that matter 😜). I love cross stitch and sewing and make lovely teddy bears, Tilda dolls and traditional Slavic motanka dolls.

I paint a little, do some gardening (we've got a splendid huge garden!), play the piano and enjoy birdwatching (lots of different forest birds live in this splendid garden of ours and we feed them). And I go horse-riding and do sports. Very accomplished as you can guess.

I restore furniture. I love working with old wood. 😎 And as I am a huge fan of nalichniki ⬆, recently I have started a new project - I remake old ornate window frames into beautiful, exquisite mirrors.

😕 The list of cards that are not appreciated includes those with tourist views, contemporary art, all kinds of insects (even butterflies), palm trees and beaches, skyscrapers or any modern buildings, movies, tv shows, cartoons, comics or posters.

😊 I am a very responsible and diligent postcrosser. I spend a lot of effort on searching for beautiful stamps and postcards of fine quality and expect the same from other people. I always try to choose a perfect card to fit the most difficult wishlist.
