Hi! I recently joined Swap-bot because my sister has been swapping and it sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm 28 years old and am getting married in June, 2014. It's been fun getting ready for the wedding!

I spend my evenings (and weekends) baking, knitting, or paper crafting. I LOVE to give my creations away so I can watch others enjoy them.

I've recently started quilting and it's my favourite of hobbies. My sister and my mom have been doing it for years but I never had any interest in it. I just happened to be out shopping for fabric with my mom and a switch went off in me and I haven't stopped since. It feels like I've quilted before and it's a familiar passion. Ladies generations before us in our family have done it too so it's probably just in my blood. My sewing machine is an old metal table top one from my grandmother, my sewing kit belonged to my paternal great grandmother and my sewing stash belonged to my great aunt. I'm surrounded by my family's generation of quilting and it feels awesome to keep it in the family, years and years later. I could talk about fabric, sewing, quilting, and family all day...

I'm nearing bilingual as I'm prominently English but enjoy practicing my French.

We just moved in to our new home this past year. (New to us, but an older home.) Owning a home has brought my DIY to a whole new level, haha!! It's so much fun to make your house your own, but it is a lot of work. I'm looking forward to the spring again so I can continue to work on our garden.

My professional life involves interior design so I love to talk design and architecture.

I can't wait to get started!
