I am a lover of all things art. Although I sew to share. I paint, I do pottery, mixed media. I love being creative and am always looking for new ideas and ways to make things. Altering everyday items is a favorite, so finding ways to alter anything from file folders to clothing is a constant in my life. I have a studio where I have my sewing machines as well as 3 kilns so anything goes!

I find myself very interested lately in birds,bird prints and botanical designs.

I like to reuse fabric,and just about any castoff that looks like it may have some potential.

Always trying to find fabrics and mix paint to achieve a true robbins egg blue. Anybody out there with a good recipe for that?

Have been saving old file folders and covering them with bits of found paper,fabrics and then adding acrylic painting on top.

A true believer in there's no such thing as junk.
