Howdy! My name is Brittany and I am a Texas mama to two awesome kiddos. My oldest is a handsome 3 year old little man and my youngest is a beautiful little lady who is currently 6 months old. I am married to a very talented artist who paints, draws and sculpts. I, sadly, can not draw a stick figure but I love to craft and make things!

Before I became a mom I worked as a music promoter/ freelance photographer in the rock scene. I worked with mostly Finnish bands such as 69 Eyes, Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica, and HIM. I also did work for small US bands such as Trashlight Vision, Tattooed Millionaires and Wednesday 13. I was a total 'Rocker chick', tattooed and pierced with crazy hair. Hard to believe if you see me now lol. Although I have retired my nose ring and hot pink/purple hair, I still love the music and the style.

I love to cook and swap recipes. I love finding unusual recipes and trying them out. I am a foodie to the max!

We are total Ren Fest nerds and love all things pirates. We are lucky enough to live about an hour away from the largest Ren Fest in the US and we try to go at least 3-4 times a year during the festival. We not only go but we participate by dressing up and getting in on the piratical fun.

The majority of my crafting revolves around costuming right now. We are currently preparing for the Texas Renaissance Festival as well as Halloween. We are turning our little red wagon into a pirate ship, making rum bottles, hair beads, piratey jewelry and costumes for the little ones. I have also been slowly gathering Halloween craft goodies to start my curio bottle collection and centerpieces. I decorate my cubicle at work every year and this year will have a "witch's kitchen" theme. So lots of work to be done there! ingredient bottles, spell books and so on. Very excited about it all!

I have always had a love of groups of people that live on the fringe of society. Hippies, goths, bikers, gypsies... The "weirdos" of the world. I love to let my freak flag fly!

My children are my world and many of the crafts I do are either for them or something they are able to help with.

Milo is my oldest born on Groundhog's day '09. He is too smart for his own good, hyper and curious and always full of questions. He loves Star Wars thanks to my Star Wars geek of a husband. He also loves Batman, Superman, The Avengers and He-Man. He has a current obsession with Angry Birds and likes to pretend his is an angry bird and his stuffed animals are the pigs. His imagination is out of this world and he always surprises me with something new.

Molly is my baby girl born on Boxing Day '11. Both my kiddos were born on random holidays lol. Her nursery is decorated in bright green, orange, pink, blue and purple and owls. I love Hello Kitty so as of right now, Molly does too haha. Molly's favorite things to do are eat, sleep and chew on everything she can get into her mouth. She is a smiley happy baby that loves to watch her brother dance around and be silly.

I am a movie junkie and it would be difficult to list all of my favorites. Horror, comedy and musicals are my top catagories. I love old films as well, Marilyn Monroe is my all time favorite actress. I am also a documentary lover and enjoying learning and watching documentaries of all sorts.
