Greetings! I'm Erin- a very happy crafter. I'm 34 years young and always enjoy learning something new. Im from Jacksonville, Florida (GO GATORS!) and did most of my growing up between there and Oklahoma. I live in beautiful East Tennessee (GO VOLS!) and I absolutely love it!!! We just moved here from Texas . My husband was born and raised in these here hills. I miss the wide open Texas sky.

Rainy days are my very favorite thing in the whole wide world .. right after my Chihuahua L.B. ... and my very tolerant husband, of course.My husband and I enjoy bird watching, going to the local high school football games, grilling (jerk chicken). I love my family and love getting to visit them. My lil' sister Lorin is my best friend. The woman I look up to the most is my Grandmother, she is also the most beautiful woman I have ever known. The man I admire most is my Father. My hero is my husband. I'm a total military brat. My father and all my grandfathers served and my husband is also a Vet. I have to admit, I'm not very patriotic though.

I am a portrait photographer by trade. I cannot draw if my life depended on it but I think I have I have a good eye for balance, composition, texture and color.

My favorite colors are blue and white. I am a big fan of the whole shabby chic' look. I love animals and nature. I think I have an incredible sense of humor..boardering inappropriate at times. I do NOT take myself too serious, I never mind laughing at my self. I always appreciate cleverness and wittiness. I am not religiously affiliated.

I have a pretty out of control craft stash...seriously, I cant believe my husband hasn't given me an ultimatum yet! I tend to collect EVERYTHING!! (It's not hoarding.... I swear!) I just really like all the cool notions, patterns and crafting supplies, magazines and books and threads and yarns and pin cushions and scissors... Okay, let me just stop! I think you get it :)

My favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Dexter, Walking Dead, American Horror Story and Big Brother is my favorite reality show. I'm addicted to Netflix. Right now I'm rewatching Mad Med before Season 7B is released.

I love tasty food, I am not a picky eater. I really enjoy reading and drinking coffee. I like flavored teas but not a fan of anything licorice flavored. I enjoy most music..except country. I mostly listen to Rap and Hip-Hop, Texas rap is my favorite. I'm addicted to Instagram.. Not on Facebook.

My crafting repertoire includes embroidery, crochet, sewing, paper crafting (card making and ATC's, stamps), jewelry making, peyote beading, yarn weaving. I've experimented with polymer clay a bit. I also enjoy painting my nails... but wouldn't say I'm very good at it. I'm always looking for a new challenge, too.

Right now I've been learning how to sew. I've only made a few things but I think I have a real knack for it. I just got a walking presser foot so I may even take a swing at quilting. I just entered a quilt block challenge (to later be donated to Project Linus). I'm really excited and need to start looking for a simple beginners 12" block pattern.

Ok... Colors are tough for me.. I just like so many of them. When it comes to my dislikes with color, what it really comes down to is how they are paired with other colors.. I either like the color combo or I don't.. I know.. not very helpful. But, I am currently attempting to redecorate my home in White. And I just really love how Whites, Greys Blues & Aqua's come together.
