Who am I? I am Sashi Fierce, a creator, imaginator, and a dreamer. If I had to define myself with one word I would say I’m a writer. Though I firmly believe that everyone can write, not everyone can be a writer.

I grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas and currently attend the University of Arkansas after attending Westminster College in Missouri for a year. I am studying English with a concentration in creative writing. I always get the question: fiction or poetry? But, I would rather not limit myself by identifying as strictly a fiction writer or a poet. What about creative non-fiction? I write what I write and I like to think I am capable of being whatever I want to be.

I tend to daydream. I love thinking about the endless possibilities the statement “what if” can bring to life. Random fact: the “notes” app on my iPhone is overflowing with ideas, one-liners, and phrases I overhear or luckily mis-hear. I would be lost without my notes–let’s hope I never lose my phone.
