My name is Teri and I am a 50-something year old who finally has the time to get back into my art-making the way I want. I love anything unusual or quirky as well as anything original and handmade. I am easy to get along with and very non-judgmental. I accept people for who they are and expect the same. I don't expect everyone to like me, or what I do, but that's okay too. I collect witches (gotta laugh at the stereotype!), I love my cats, I listen to all kinds of rock and jazz, I love to read, drive my convertible (fast!), spend time with my one child (now 30) and do all sorts of arts and crafts. I also dabble with gourmet cooking and gardening. I am looking forward to getting involved here!

Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite. I haven't yet found anyone to replace them. But I listen to a number of both classic and contemporary bands - Supertramp, Jethro Tull, Yes, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, the Doors to name a few of the classics, and Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Lacuna Coil, Godsmack, Sixx AM to name a few of today's groups. There are tons of others, I couldn't begin to name them all. On the jazz side, Miles Davis is the king.

Well, I don't usually do anything dark...oh, wait a minute. Wrong type of Craft ;)I enjoy mixed media art. I love watercolors and acrylics. I like anything messy and creative, I don't like too much structure. I don't do a lot of rubberstamping, never really got the hang of neat stamping, I always smear the darn things. Which is okay sometimes. But mostly I leave it alone. I also do some needlework. Crochet mostly, my eyes are getting too old to see the tiny stitches I used to do on 32 count linen for counted cross stitch. I also love polymer and metal clays. You can do so much with them! I like to draw, although I don't think I am very good at it. I don't care, I like it anyway. I love color, and I love to express my mood through color. I guess I'm not too different from most of us.

My current passion is mail art and polymer clay. I love ATCs of all sorts, I am in several deco groups that I enjoy and I am expanding from polymer clay into metal clay. I just like to have fun.

I collect anything witchy as I said before. I loathe stereotypes, and I have to laugh at the stereotype around witches. So I collect witches of all sorts. Halloween (Samhain) is my favorite time of year and I always find something new. I don't like the cutesy ones though. The uglier the better.As far as ATCs and the like, I am not really into cute. I like the unusual. I love nature, animals, vintage is okay, dark or gothic is good. I love the dark romantics - like Poe for instance. I am not big on celebrities. Cultures as a theme is good, color, celestial, tarot, anything occult, goddess, floral, sea, fantasy, all good. I don't like christian themes - not my thing. But mostly anything other than cute, christian, celebrity or country and I like it. Tasteful nudes are okay too.
