OH! I did a bit of refurnishing in my profile and sea glass went because I thought nobody would ever notice such a silly little thing, but apparently I was wrong! I too have much fond memories of it, I too grew up by the sea. The Northern sea is a bit hard for glass though, there's not much small rocks and stuff but only ice and very very smooth sand and clay, so finding a beautifull piece of glass was very rare, or it happened on summer trips to southern shores. Sometimes I buried pieces of old plates with a chord attached to them and tied to a fish-net post, I would be sure to find them later, but of course I usually forgot about it until many years... IT IS such a nostalgic thing and I'd like to do some sea-glass jewellery, I'll have to add it to my wishlist again. : D
I would really love to join your swap but I really shouldn't take on more stuff at the moment... I'll watch and give it a new consideration when the date gets closer :) Hope you get lots of people to join, it was a little embarrassing when only two people joined my towel day swap, and one of them was a flaker...
