I was away for the last week, with limited internet access. Had my mom's 80th birthday party on Saturday; she did pretty well although she forgot about it the next day. LOL. Then on Sunday I did a 5+ mile hike on the Appalachian Trail, in the snow. It was lovely. I'm giving some thought to doing a thru-hike of the entire Trail. (2,100 miles!!!)

Awww, I was actually thinking about you earlier today!! Things are really looking up and I am super excited. Adam starts his new job on Monday :) That has really just given me an extra boost of happiness and hope :) I think this year is going to be great!!
am meant to be out for a work mate's birthday tomorrow night, and going walking on sunday to make up for not being able to get to the gym... only i appear to be snowed in.... with several bottles of wine, champagne, gin... and a reasonably well stocked cupboard / freezer.... i think i'll be fine despite the inconvenience! how's things at your end?
