Here are a few of my favorite vampires. The first two images are from an ongoing Korean manga with a wonderful story line and a host of interesting vampires.

These next two images are from a completed serial novel about a race of space faring vampires. Fascinating story line.

And of course, the first vampire book I ever read. I couldn't sleep for quite a number of nights because the book was really scary.

I chose the butterfly, Papilio phorcas, also called Green Banded Swallowtail because green butterflies are my most favorite! It is a butterfly from Afrotropic ecozone (Africa). The first description was in 1775 by Cramer. The wingspan is about 8 – 9 cm. Papilio phorcas is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The butterfly is black with broad, green bands and areas. Hind wings have tails.
