for granting a wish for me with the friendly letter! :) I love the Christmas memory you shared- that's wonderful. That was a surprise ending- I'm glad the candle didn't cause much damage! Dec. 29 was actually the 5 year anniversary of the fire that destroyed our home, but I am not sensitive (in a negative way anyway) to stories of fires or talking and reminiscing on that time. On the contrary, I appreciate the reminder of how fortunate we are that our family all escaped unharmed- including our pets! While we did lose 90% of our home's structure and contents, we are all aware that posessions- regardless of value sentimentally or intrinsically- are nothing compared to our safety and lives! So it's a time of celebration for us for sure! Hope you are enjoying your holidays. Can't believe we are entering 2020! Sounds so futuristic ;)
