Saturday was a huge success! The food, weather, margaritas -- everything was great. Being one of the hostesses, I didn't have time to take many pics or even eat much, but I somehow managed to quaff several margaritas!

Are you a teacher?

babysingsing on Jul 20, 2007:

Mmmmmm, crullers! Thanks for the tip. My cousins live in that neighborhood so I'll be on scout. Have fun at the festival this weekend! I'll just have to squeeze my own damn lemonade.

KansasKate on Jul 20, 2007:

TíaBel, querida, I tried to set up my swaps with small numbers of items & partners so that you might, someday, see your dining table once again!

I hope some people will get into the South American themes. As Mario Benedetti said, «¡El Sur también existe!»

babysingsing on Jul 20, 2007:

A local news report following this morning's 4.2 earthquake: A donut shop in the city's Elmwood District also had a cracked window, but remained open for business. "It was all pretty minor," said U.S. Geological Survey spokeswoman Leslie Gordon. "It didn't interrupt donut production."

Straight from the USGS.

me and my friends always quote that movie. "one time, when i was in second grade, i saw my reflection on the back of a spoon and i was like, wow. you are really, really, really ridiculously goodlooking. I should do that for a living!" haha.

RudeNun on Jul 18, 2007:

TiaBel thank you so much for the heart! I hope I sent you the mermaid shrine(I made 6 different shrines and sent two per person) I'm glad you liked them :D

You must come and play with us, we're making pinatas!

RudeNun on Jul 17, 2007:

I, as of yet, have not received your inquiry on becoming a Marmot.

RudeNun on Jul 16, 2007:

Have you ever heard of someone describing a bracelet as "bajangly"?
