Hiya!!

I am originally from Iowa but have been living in Japan for the past 12 years. I teach at an elementary school and also make an English educational TV show at a small town, local cable company.

Lots of things have been going on which have been keeping me away from swapping the ATC's which I love so much, but I hope to get back to is soon!

I don't want to say too much about myself, because I don't want to skew your creativity! For me, what I want to see is what you want to make--so make it however you want to and I will look forward to the surprise!

I love the extras people sometimes add--they make me smile!! However, I am not a big fan of mail confetti--it gets stuck in the woven mat floors here and can be a pain to get out. I feel a little mail-party-pooperish about that, but there ya' have it! ;)

The Swaps will come from Japan, so the mailing time may be slow. It usually takes about a week if it goes by airmail, but larger packages may need to be sent by boat, resulting in longer shipping times. Sorry for the inconvenience, but please be patient! Thank you.

Thank you so, so much for the wonderful sushi menus from my October Wishlist, which I think will not only make amazing gift boxes, but will also inspire me to make more interesting crocheted sushi!

And I love the crayon ball! At first I thought you'd sent me a piece of patterned scrapbooking paper, and then I noticed the crayon ball itself---the results are really abstract-pretty, and a picture will be coming soon, when I have some sunlight to shoot in.

I was just released from the hospital after being admitted over a week ago and I can't tell you how wonderful it was to come home and find your incredibly generous wishlist package.
