I'm 37 and live in northwest Arkansas. I have an awesome husband, a 5 year old daughter, two spoiled dogs and one sneaky cat. I am a huge geek and love everything nerdy -- including gaming -- I still play a lot of World of Warcraft (Horde forever) and am big into all Nintendo games, especially Mario, Animal Crossing and all things Pokemon.

I have always enjoyed drawing, it was my first love! I don't do it as often as I used to, so I'm hoping that getting involved in some swaps here will give me that creative spark I need. I also enjoy painting, making tiny polymer clay figures, and doing random arts and crafts with my daughter (we do everything from building bird houses to illustrating our own books). Painting ceramics and pewter figures is something I used to do that I'd love to get back into.

A List of My Likes:

• Purple is my favorite color! Dark or light, bright enough to melt your eyeballs, any purple is good!
• I also like reds, oranges, blues, pinks. Think sunset colors. :)
• My favorite dog breeds are boxers and corgis.
• Other favorite animals include foxes, owls, ferrets, pythons, cheetah.
• I am a big fan of coffee and chocolate. Even together, yum!
• I love Japan, especially their art, animation, fashion and movies. Anything from or inspired by Japan is always good in my book.
• Trees! Who doesn't like a nice tree? They make me feel at peace.
• The desert. I used to live in Tucson, Arizona and I miss it a lot. The saguaros, the wild animals, the gorgeous sunsets and the expansive night sky.
• Van Gogh and Alphonse Mucha are my favorite classical painters.
• Stickers, cute pens, random craft paper or objects.

Muse, David Bowie, Queen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Beatles, Silversun Pickups, Doomtree, OneRepublic, fun., Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I will listen to anything once.

Drawing (pencils, colored pencils, copic markers), painting (acrylics), ATCs, clay, paper crafts, wooden crafts... if I can paint it or draw on it, I'M IN.

As a graphic designer, I also do a lot of Photoshop and Illustrator work!

Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Star Wars, Interstellar, Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool, Avengers, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects... pretty much any classic Disney animation or Pixar movie... I also really like musicals (Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Book of Mormon, Hamilton)

The Stand, the Dark Tower Series... I am a huuuuuuge Stephen King fan! I enjoy a good scary story.

Watership Down, 1984, the Wizard of Oz books, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy are some of my other faves.
