With embossing, it is almost like learning to drive a stick-shift. Touchy! Takes the right amount of ink, powder, tapping off, and heat. You need to really just practice a whole lot to get the amounts right. And paper won't work to practice on, so choose some cards stock to work with, and get to practicing! You can cut out the ones that work and throw away the rest. One thing I will say is that Tim Holtz embossing ink is the best by far! The others are not "gel-y enough."
You are very welcome and it was my pleasure to angel that swap for you! It is no fun to get flaked on so if and when I can I try to look out for awesome swappers like you! I really like your profile as well, and feel the same, but Kansas in stuck right in the middle!! Have a great weekend! Sher
D is for dick - LOL! I love your profile. I got the skeleton paper punch at Walmart in the $1 bin in the craft section last year. I'm sure they'll have them this year too. I have the mini bat, witch, ghost & cat. I can send you some punchies if you would like them. Just LMK!
Hey wifey wife♥! I just wanted to let you know that I sent $$ to your paypal. :) YAY. I have a rak at my house I need to send you soon too. I am hoping it goes out the 26th at the latest.
I have found out that Future Floor Wax has been renamed Pledge with Future Finish. Several polymer clay people have mentioned this as their favorite to seal their projects.
I only made the tin on my flickr. I don't know who did the other one. The swap host found it somewhere. So glad she did because it was an awesome swap to give and receive. I love the tin that I got!!! Very dfferent from mine and so creative. I love making anything with a Witch in it this time of year, so I stuck with witches. I wanted to stay vintage because I purchased 2 tins so I could make another for my kitchen, lol! I got the rusty wire at factorydirectcraft.com I hope you will post pics of what you come up with. You are very creative, so I am interested to see what you make.
