Looking for more creative ways to connect with my fellow humans in this lonely world!

I live in NY with my partner and our 13 yr old daughter whom I am homeschooling.

I am an avid reader and was partially inspired by the book The Correspondent by Virginia Evans to start looking for snail mail buddies.

I love nature and love to spend time outdoors, but that is difficult during the long dreary winters in New York, so I ocassionally abscond myself to Puerto Rico, which is my second (and ancestral) home.

I'm excited to get started with Swap Botting? Swapping bots??

I love fiber arts and am teaching myself visible mending. My daughter taught me how to crochet and immediately I made every member of my family a star blanket. My "to be crocheted" queue is rivaled only by my "to be read" queue.

I like to draw and want to spend more time being creative in general! As my daughter is getting older, I am finding (making) more time for my self and my own interests.

An absolutely gut wrenching category for a book lover... how can I choose?!? (but, also how could I neglect this category?!)

My favorite of all time is Little Women, because I first loved it as a child and it will always be special to me.

I usually have at least three books going at any moment (a novel, something non fiction, and an audiobook).

I wish I were a physical book purist because of the romance and nostalgia of holding a physical book (and, of course, the smellllllll), but, alas, I am an eReader gal. I just can't beat the ability to walk around with 1,000 books on my person AND read in the dark without holding a flashlight in my mouth like I did when I was a kid.

I am also a library fanatic. Please use your local library, friends!!! It's more than just books!!!

I am vegan! Which feels important to mention (and is important to me!)
