About Me

Hello, Everyone!

My name is Deanna.

I am an artist and art teacher living in Kansas. I've been creating art all my life!!

I have a great husband who keeps me company in the evenings in our newly purchased two story home.

We spend weekends repairing and renovating both the inside and outside of this home.

I have two grown daughters, and a beautiful granddaughter.

Though they live 3 1/2 hours away, my husband and I enjoy spoiling them when we can.

Favorite Music

When it comes to music, I listen to all types, although I am NOT a big fan of rap.

Top 40 is what you will normally hear spilling out of my classroom.

Occasionally, you can see my students taking a creativity break by doing the "Cupid Shuffle", "Electric Slide" or various other group type dances.

Favorite Movies

Our hobby is to attend the movie theatres on a regular basis to watch the latest "hot movies".

We are game for almost every genre, except the bloody horror flicks.

Comment: Hello Deanna, Over the last 6 weeks, I have broken my femur, had surgery to repair my femur, had a rod put in my leg been in rehab, and now am home going through more therapy continuing to heal. All of this has caused me to be slow in getting my ratings done. I have not forgotten you. I just love the "flower" poems you did for the #3 Playing cards. Not only do I love the poems, but they are new ones you introduced to me. As well, the presentation on each card is wonderful. Your cards will be a great addition to my APC collection and to my Poetry Collection noterbook for 2011. Thank you for you patience and understanding with me in getting your rating done.
