About Me

I'm an Art Store manager with a degree in Art Education. I live in Ohio with my husband, 2 dogs(a Yorkie/Rat Terrier mix and a Miniature Dachshund) and 1 really angry kitty. I love to do art and crafts and will try anything twice!

Favorite Crafts

I love lots of things! Zen-tangles, Dark themes, cupcakes, zombies, squirrels and hoot owls! I work in many different types of media. I like to do woodworking with my scroll saw. Silkscreen and lino block printing, watercolor, pen and ink, and the like...I love unique scraps of paper, stencils, brads, and markers. I love sketchbooks and altered art and making things from recycled items. I like to sew and make plushies and such.

Favorite Television

I love crime stories, especially Bones. I love the Discovery channel and Sci-Fi! Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures and anything spine tingly!

Dislikes

Old floral looking things Crafts being too overdone(there is a stopping point) Tardiness Stickers applied crooked, please take your time!!! Mint flavored teas, but mint chocolate is divine. Hard candy overall is icky for me.

Favorite Music

I like most anything and listen to a wide variety of music, 'cept for Jazz...I really don't feel it.

Favorite Books

Vampires, Witches, Zombies, Ghosts...I like the Suspense filled and dark!

Comment: I LOVE octopusses (?) well, you know what I mean :) Great little drawing and is now hanging on my wall next to my desk, a cheery little scene. And thanks for the adorable bookmark too... going into my book i'm reading (better than bending those pages over, bad me!)

Response: Well, I do have to say that I cleaned up before I took the pictures! The only OCD thing I have is keeping my colors together...there have been times one didn't know a desk lived under my pileรขหœยบ

I miss you on here! Don't know if you are on a hiatus from swap-bot or not, but i am thinking of reviving the sharpie drawing swaps after the new year. :)
