I'm in college, majoring in some kind of science and hoping to be an engineer someday. I also like philosophy and languages and gender studies. I like to make things when i should be studying.

Other Things: Books, bicycles, foreign films, poetry, old things, broken things, things so ugly they are cool, procrastination, day-dreaming, stargazing, cooking, sustainability, photography, mountains, adventures, things arriving in the mail :)

I like little things: Mixed CDs, a zine, a postcard, a book you didn't know you had two copies of... when it comes to handmade things I think it's the thought that counts.

My favorite crafts are jewelry-making, knitting (albeit at a pretty basic level), photography, card-making, and pottery. Sometimes I try to sew things, but it doesn't always end prettily. I'm not the best at following directions. I really like using found objects, scraps of fabric, recycled papers, and bits of things I find around the house.
