Anything by Carol Goodman, fluff mysteries - Coffeehouse series, Tea Shop series, and the Goldy Bear series for examples. William Kent Krueger's Cork O'Connor series, Waiting for White Horses, Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next novels, Jane Eyre, Ahab's Wife, The Secret Life of Bees. I'm also a sucker for Minnesota authors - John Sanford, PJ Tracy (yes, only half of the duo lives in MN), WKK, etc.

I am a lover of color and if you aren't talking about wearing it I don't think there is really a color I don't like. I especially love deep jewel tones and earthy tones. Right now I'm all about the orange and have also been really into green and purple.

I love citrus scents that aren't muddied with other fruit/vegetable/herb/spice scents and can be sensitive to some florals so I try to stay away from those.

I'm a lover of chocolate, especially dark. I drink tea and coffee semi-religiously though I don't require a cup of either to start my day. For tea I love jasmine, genmaicha, earl grey, darjeeling, and assam. I enjoy fruit flavored ones (especially pear) as well. For coffee I prefer whole beans in medium dark to espresso roast and whenever possible buy organic and fair trade.

I'm a sucker for anything pumpkin flavored (or scented)! I love black pepper, mustards, vingar or snack mixes/chips that highlight any of those flavors.

I have a dog who is s sucker for anything peanut butter flavored, but really won't turn her nose up at any treat. DH loves peanut butter too :-)
