I am a geek, costumer, and gamer who is constantly working on something crafty. I have an insatiable curiosity, and am happiest when surrounded by animals.

Favorite Music

I'm an NPR junkie, so I don't listen to nearly as much music as most people. When I do listen, though, it's either David Wilcox or Nickel Creek. I also will put up with my boyfriend's Weird Al collection and occasional TMBG. :)

Favorite Books

I love sci-fi and fantasy, but there is nothing that can beat a good Marvel comic! Specifically the retro stuff!! I am reading my way forward from the beginning back in 1962, and am currently reading in 1982. I also /love/ King and Koontz, and I've recently fallen in love with Elizabeth Peters.

Favorite Movies

I love horror films and pretty much anything geeky! I am more fond of actual comics than of the movies made based on them, but I still see every one that comes out! :)

Favorite Television

Star Trek: TNG, Doctor Who (the classic stuff, not nuWho), and pretty much anything else geeky. I love The Walking Dead, Pushing Daisies, Firefly, Leverage, just to name a few... Yes, I am a bit of a couch potato... :D

Favorite Crafts

Mostly, I crochet. Anything and everything! My latest obsession is inventing interesting new vest patterns. I also love costuming, so I sew and construct all sorts of crazy things... Hint to the wise: do not, under any circumstances, ever paper-mache your head. It just isn't worth it. Trust me. -_____- I love creating anything and everything, but crochet is definitely my most practiced craft... And I'm a total nut for yarn!

Favorite Colors

I love /bright/ colors! Magenta and bright teal are my two faves right now, but I'm also a bit batty about neon colors! Honestly, the brighter and happier the color, the more I love it! My ultimate favorite "color" though, is chrome!! I love shiny silver things more than anything on earth!! I'm a total ferret! :)

Style

My style is somewhat mod, somewhat modern. I like straight lines, simple straight-forward shapes, and lots of chrome!
I dress strangely, lots of skirts with leggings, bright neon colors, and anything silver I can find!
I also appreciate Steampunk and am (someday) going to make an amazing costume! My problem is that I want it all to work...or at least move...

Response: I'm glad you liked all the fillings. I'm sorry you didn't like the envie, but I'm not really sure how I could have made it more of a collage since every single centimeter was literally covered with clippings..?
