A loved one is a loved one, regardless of how old you are. When your pet dies, it is heartbreaking of course! My daughter's hamster died 2 years ago (she's 16 now) and every now and again when she looks at pictures of Wilhemenia, she still wells up. {{BIG hugs}} to you.
