Hi! My name is Kristen and I love meeting new people, which is why I joined swap-bot. I also love writing letters and receiving mail which is another reason I joined. I had never heard of this site and am looking forward to learning more! I am trying to figure out what to include in my profile, so if you have any tips let me know!

I live in Tennessee outside of Nashville and absolutely love where I live. We have the small time atmosphere with the convenience of everything close by. I am a Christian and live my life by trying to follow and trust God in everything that I do and in everything that I am.

I just graduated with my M.Ed in Elementary Education and completed my teaching internship in Australia. I was there for four months and it was the trip of a lifetime. I still can't believe I was given the opportunity! Now I am looking for a teaching job! While I am looking for a job I spend my time on my crafts and doing a lot of childcare. I love caring for children because no day is ever the same. Kids are much more capable than people give them credit for and I love being about to see things through their eyes.

I have a blog and love blogging and the blog community. Before I started my blog I didn't really understand what was so fun about blogging but I have met some amazing people and I think my writing has improved by keeping a blog.

I love animals and have a extra special Shih Tzu named Pancake who I rescued from a puppy mill. She spent her life in a cage and so now she is a little spoiled. She is a princess. I also have two family dogs, Bailey (Cairn Terrier) and Chloe (mutt, but we think doberman/beagle).

I love photography. My favorite things to photograph are animals and children. Both make the picture taking experience challenging but you can get some great pictures.

LIKES: God, crafts, reading, music, movies, photography, traveling, animals, the color pink, hanging out with my friends, interior design, sewing, candy, shopping, Target, ladybugs

DISLIKES: mean people, unhappy people, skulls and zombies (stuff like that)

I absolutely love crafts- making and buying. I love buying and receiving homemade because I think it is more thoughtful. Of course there are some not so nice handmade things but it is really the thought that someone tried to do something for me. When I find something I want I love trying to make it. Of course, I sometimes fail but I enjoy trying.

WHAT I MAKE: I currently make my own hand stamped silver jewelry. I was so excited when I first saw a hand stamped necklace but there are so many people that sell them for so much money. I started making the jewelry because I wanted to offer a more affordable option to people and I fell in love with it! I also make beaded, wire crosses. My mom calls them weapons but I love making them and changing the colors and styles to suit different moods. In addition, I love to sew! Basically I like to sew anything. I taught myself to sew when I was 16 and haven't looked back.

I also love to scrapbook and have lots of supplies! I wish I had more time for it, I hope to start my Australia scrapbook soon!

I collect ladybugs. I don't even remember when it started but I have been doing it for years and I love everything related to ladybugs.

I like to use exclamation points!

I'm a triplet, but we don't look alike and are all very different. It is pretty cool being a triplet!

I am a very happy person. I like to see the glass as half full, definitely makes like better.

I LOVE candy! I think I may have an addiction ;) I eat mostly chewy & fruity candy (skittles/starburst) and oddly am not the biggest fan of chocolate, weird I know.

My favorite color is pink and I am a girly girl.

I love just driving around in my car and seeing where I end up. If I get lost (and have the time:) I just drive until I end up where I know where I am.

I want to buy a house and fix it up one day. I love watching shows like Design Star and seeing creative, low cost decorating ideas.

I love driving around in my car and blaring my music. While I may look like an idiot singing along there is not a better stress reliever!

I organize & clean when I am upset.

I love all types of music except rap but I mostly listen to country and Christian. My favorite band of the moment is Lady Antebellum. I also love Sugarland, Bon Jovi, Matthew West, Big Daddy Weave, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Chris Tomlin, Johnny Diaz, Lincoln Brewster, but basically anytime I hear something I like I will download it on iTunes. My ipod has lots of different music.
