Hello, Kat in the house. I'm a foodie and I love cooking and trying out new recipes. That is one of my passions. I watch a lot of cooking shows and tv shows in general. Felix the cat is my favorite cartoon character. I like doing arts and crafts. I have dabbled with paper quilling and needle felting. I like to sew. I have made purses, keychains, blankets, clothes, pillowcases. In my spare time I like doing jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, going antique shopping, concerts, reading manga books and love to explore national parks and get my cancellation stamp! I enjoy 5D diamond painting. It is so much fun and relaxing. I love to curl up in the winter time with my cocoa and read a good book. Instagram is time consuming but a lot of fun to see how creative people are from all over the world!

I listen to all kinds of music - pop, rock, alternative, 80's, freestyle and christian music. Some of my favorites are : Bonjovi, FM static, Westlife, Faber Drive, Skillet, Kutless, Simple Plan.

My favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Studio Ghibli movies- Ponyo, The secret world of Arrietty, From up on Poppy Hill. Some actors I like - Ben Mendelsohn,Rupert Penry-Jones, Damian Lewis. I watch a lot of shows-Top Chef, Blue bloods, Mayans, Stranger Things, Yellowstone,1923, Euphoria, Sex education, Mandalorian, Outlander, Upload, Emily in Paris, Poker face, CB Strike, Only murders in the building, Billions and re-runs of the Golden Girls. British tv shows: Rosemary & Thyme,Happy Valley, MI-5, Black Mirror and Last tango in Halifax. Some other shows I've enjoyed are: 1883, White collar, Life, Nashville, Bloodline, Modern love,Grace and Frankie, True Detective, Longmire, Burn Notice, Black Sail, Marco Polo and Shut eye. Korean drama I liked: My love from a star, The heirs, Crash landing on you and Boys over flowers.

▪️Tea - love green, white and black tea. Favorites: Genimacha, Chai, Gyokuro, Jasmine green, Matcha, Oolong, Sencha, Pu-erh, Hojicha, Roobios, corn/barley, Buckwheat soba, organic teas. Brands I drink: Harney & Sons, Fortnum & Mason, Tetley orange pekoe, Tazo, Mighty leaf, Taylors of Harrogate. I prefer packaged tea bags (unopened) over loose leaf. I do not like fruit flavors teas (mango, raspberry, orange, etc..)

▪️Stickers- I have been collecting stickers since I was a little girl. I like shiny and/or clear stickers the best. Also like travel, birthday, quotes, Felix the cat, mustache, alphabet, faux postage stamps, Sticko, Jolee's, Chocokat, stars, sun, moon, cooking theme, tea, teacups, music, coffee,cups, turtles, mantee, bees, kawaii, vintage, b & w, sewing, buttons, music, scratch and sniff, Afro ken, Little twin stars, Jimmy & Patty, Japanese characters, snail mail related (Prefer not to get any tiny stickers or planner stickers)

▪️Animals- I love turtles. I love manatees. Both hold a special place in my heart.

▪️Postcards- linen, landmarks, old maps,Greeting from(state), old postcards with funny cartoons, bridges, anime, cowboys and Indians, art themes, artist paintings, history related, vintage, watercolors, NYC in the olden days, cartoon, comics, St. Augustine, quotes,humor, turtles. I prefer non-tourist postcards.

▪️Postage stamps from USA and different countries, used or unused. I collected stamps throughout the years so I have some old USA postage stamps (the ones you licked). Love to see different kinds of postage stamps on my mail. I heart postage stamps and I heart mail. Enuf said.

▪️Collecting shark teeth and sea glass from beaches. Lived in Florida for a few years so this is my absolute favorite thing to do.

▪️Collecting foreign coins

▪️Washi tape (masking tape). The real deal. Made of good quality. I'm kinda obsessed with it. Japanese MT is my favorite. I do not like fake cheap ones that do not stick.

▪️Mail art. I love to doodle so I try to draw some art on the envelope to make it look pretty.

▪️Art journaling /junk journals- this has taken over my life right now! I am learning more about it everyday. I have starting drawing, doodling and writing. I enjoy it very much and will continue to explore and create. I’m starting to learn more about mixed media and using my gelli plate in my journals. ▪️Zines - I just started doing a few and I love it. I like a good quality one with drawings and the effort put into making it. It’s wonderful how one piece of paper can turn into something so beautiful and creative.

I've gotten some amazing swaps from very kind and awesome people. I am grateful to have an outlet to show my creativity and have fun meeting people in the process. Please note that I like to recycle as much as possible. I make a lot of envies with clean paper bags, calendars, books, etc...so please don’t take offense if you get one.
